Breast Uplift Or Breast Enhancement? Test Out Your Breast Sagginess
Are your breasts out of proportion?
Do you look in the mirror and see saggy mounds of flesh, with nipples protruding in an awkward position?
Maybe your breasts aren’t full enough, or your nipples sit too low compared to breast-size.
Uneven, lopsided, and saggy breasts can wreak havoc to a woman’s self-esteem and confidence. It’s a fact that just about every woman has one breast slightly smaller or larger than the other.
In fact, 45% of women who come to our La Jolla clinic have one breast that is at least half cup or larger. Is there any reason for this phenomenon? Yes, there are several possible reasons for uneven or saggy breasts such as:
- Breastfeeding a child
- Left or right-hand dominance
- Hormonal imbalance
- Alignment of body versus breasts
Following is a DIY technique that can be tried at home. They will let you know whether you suffer from breast ptosis.
Results from the DIY technique will also let you know which breast related procedure (breast lift, breast implants, or both) will rectify this issue.
DIY Technique #1 – The Golden Triangle
Are you an equilateral or an isosceles triangle? This technique will help you find out! The Golden Triangle method is an effective way to determine whether you are suffering from breast ptosis or not.
Distance of Both Nipples
According to the golden triangle technique, the distance between both nipples should be exactly the same distance as each nipple to the middle of your collarbones. This triangle will be equilateral, with so-called perfect dimensions of 21cm x 21cm x 21cm.
Is the distance between the middle of your collarbones and nipples is longer compared from one to another nipple? This means your breast triangle is isosceles, i.e. nipples are sitting too low causing breast sagginess at some level. Is there quite a bit of a distance? Your breasts have severely sagged; a breast lift can help.
Breast sagginess can also be determined by the Pencil technique by placing this instrument at the inframammary fold under your breast. Level of nipple positioning can be determined using a straight object (such as a ruler) as well.
