How long does a Juvéderm Ultra Plus treatment last?
Because this preparation is thicker and designed for deeper injections, the results usually last for an average of a year – about 3 to 4 months longer than Juvéderm Ultra. This also depends upon the area treated. It can last up to a year in the nasolabial folds. Lip treatments, where there is a higher blood flow, can last up to 6 months.
How many treatments will it take?
Often the desired effects are achieved after one treatment, depending upon how much area is being covered and the original condition of the skin.
Do the results look natural?
When properly administered, Juvéderm supplements the hyaluronic acid that occurs naturally in your skin. Lack of hyaluronic acid is what causes skin to lose its internal structure and to wrinkle. Although Juvéderm is a filler, it is also a natural replenishment and can bring back your skins volume and natural smoothness.
What areas can be treated?
Mid to deep dermis is treated depending upon the severity of the wrinkles. It is generally used for wrinkles around the mouth and nose and for lip augmentation needed due to thin or aging lips.
How much Juvéderm will I require?
Everyone is different, but on the average, most patients will get one to two syringes of Juvéderm Ultra Plus
